Every published reliability fact must trace to a verified evidence item or reviewed ownership unit. Source classes remain separate in storage, review, and display.
First-party UGC
These are structured histories submitted directly to EnduraIndex by current or former owners. They are anonymous, staged for review, checked for identity and duplicate risk, and excluded from public content until accepted by a human reviewer.
Public Web
These are attributable public reports or documents reviewed for exact-model identity and relevant facts. Public Web observations can describe what happened in a particular record; they cannot establish how often it happens in the owner population.
Other source classes
Official identity, manuals, support, or product documentation.
Attributable technical or service material.
Government or regulatory records, kept distinct from owner reports.
Reviewed records that retain their own evidence tier and limitations.
Review and traceability
Stored provenance includes a source/document identifier, intake timestamp, evidence tier, extraction method, review state, evidence links, and the minimum necessary source fact. Contradictory or duplicate evidence is retained rather than silently discarded.
